Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using DockPilot ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

DockPilot is a mobile companion app for managing Docker containers and Portainer servers. The App connects directly to servers that you own and operate. CampbellSoft Studios does not host, manage, or have access to your servers or data.

3. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• The security and configuration of your Docker/Portainer servers
• Ensuring your server is properly secured before exposing it to the network
• Any actions taken through the App (starting, stopping, or restarting containers)
• Maintaining backups of your server configuration and data
• Protecting your device and the credentials stored on it

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

DockPilot offers a free tier and an optional Pro subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google per their policies.

5. No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. CampbellSoft Studios does not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every Docker/Portainer configuration. Container management actions (start, stop, restart) are sent directly to your server and execute with whatever permissions your API credentials grant.

6. Limitation of Liability

CampbellSoft Studios is not liable for any damages resulting from your use of the App, including but not limited to: data loss, service interruptions, container downtime, or misconfigured servers. The App is a management interface; you are responsible for your server infrastructure.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect (none) and how the App communicates with your servers. By using the App, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
